Israel’s Chief of Staff, Lt.-Gen. Herzi Halevi, declared that Israel is prepared to strike Iran "at any time" in a speech during the 189th IAF Pilots Course Graduation Ceremony. The speech highlighted Israel’s ongoing operations across multiple fronts in its current multifaceted war.

Halevi warned Iran and its proxies in the Middle East that Israel's military would respond decisively to any threat to the country’s security. He stressed that the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) stand ready to take action at any time, emphasizing Israel’s military readiness with its advanced intelligence and air force capabilities.

The IDF Chief also addressed the importance of military personnel, particularly in the context of complex and dangerous threats. He praised the commitment and professionalism of the IDF soldiers, noting that the troops are supported by sophisticated technologies and meticulous planning.

Halevi also discussed the ongoing investigations into the IDF’s handling of the October 7 Hamas attacks, stating that the inquiries are vital for learning and improving, underscoring Israel’s commitment to transparency and accountability. This comes as part of an effort to honor fallen soldiers and ensure the IDF remains a capable and resilient force.

In addition, Halevi used his speech to connect the historical resilience of the Jewish people to the current generation of Israeli warriors, encouraging the new pilots to draw inspiration from the Maccabees and continue their service with courage and determination.

As tensions in the Middle East continue to rise, Israel’s military preparedness remains a key focus of both national and international attention.
