A terrorist shooting attack at the Beersheba Central Bus Station early Sunday afternoon left 19-year-old Israel Border Police Cpl. Shira Chaya Suslik dead and nine others wounded. Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics were on the scene within minutes of the attack, which initial reports said was carried out by Ahmad Said Suliman al-Ukabi, a 29-year-old Israeli citizen from a Bedouin family.
