Reports have surfaced of a suspected cyber incident targeting Bikur Rofeh, Israel’s leading private emergency medical services clinic, with cybersecurity teams actively investigating the breach. While it is too early to determine the full extent of the attack, officials are taking precautions to assess any potential data breach.

Bikur Rofeh, which operates under an agreement with the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), provides vital medical services to public bodies, health insurance funds, and soldiers. The clinic has already reported that a cyberattack was detected earlier this week, with strong indications pointing to Iranian perpetrators. The company took swift action to contain the breach, including disconnecting the organizational network to mitigate risks and protect sensitive information. So far, no significant leaks of confidential data have been found.

This attack comes at a time of heightened tensions between Israel and Iran, with Iranian cyber activity suspected in various previous incidents. It’s notable that despite the breach, the clinic's data agreement with the IDF remains unaffected, and no classified military information was compromised.

In parallel, U.S. President Donald Trump has sent a letter to Iran’s leadership, urging negotiations for a new nuclear deal. Trump emphasized that a peaceful resolution would be preferable to military action, although he warned that failure to negotiate could lead to dire consequences for Iran.

As the cyberattack is under investigation, Israeli authorities and Bikur Rofeh’s cybersecurity teams remain on high alert, prepared for any scenario. With the geopolitical situation intensifying, this incident highlights the growing risks of cyber warfare in the region, particularly targeting vital infrastructure.
