On Tuesday, the Israeli Air Force (IAF) conducted a series of targeted strikes against terrorist operatives across Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria. The strikes are part of Israel's ongoing efforts to neutralize terror threats and protect its borders.
In Gaza, the IDF targeted Hamas terrorists involved in planting explosives. According to the IDF, four drone strikes were carried out, resulting in the deaths of several Hamas operatives. These individuals were engaging in suspicious activity, prompting the military to take decisive action.
Later on Tuesday, the IAF struck a Hamas terrorist in southern Gaza who was operating surveillance equipment to gather intelligence on IDF forces in the region. The IDF continues to monitor and respond to terrorist activities in Gaza as part of its broader strategy to protect Israeli citizens.
The IDF also carried out strikes in southern Lebanon on Tuesday. One notable strike targeted Hassan Abbas az-a Din, a key Hezbollah figure responsible for rebuilding the terrorist group’s air defense capabilities, which had been severely damaged during the recent conflict. The IDF emphasized that this strike was part of its efforts to degrade Hezbollah's military infrastructure.
The IAF also targeted other terrorists in the Froun region of southern Lebanon, an area known for Hezbollah operations. These strikes targeted sites used by the group, further weakening its military presence in the region.
In Syria, the IDF conducted a series of attacks, reportedly around 30 in total, against military sites, weapons depots, and reconnaissance radars. These airstrikes are consistent with Israel's policy of targeting Iranian and Hezbollah assets in Syria that pose a threat to Israeli security.
