Israeli airstrikes have hit key Houthi infrastructure near Sana'a and Hodeidah in Yemen, including the main runway, control tower, and aircraft at Sana'a International Airport. The attack resulted in the deaths of three people and left 16 injured, according to Houthi sources. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed targeting military facilities, including power stations and ports used to smuggle weapons from Iran.

The strikes occurred shortly after Houthi leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi delivered a speech in which he condemned Israel’s actions and accused it of failing to gather intelligence on the region. In response, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to continue operations against the Houthi "terror arm" of Iran, emphasizing that Israel would not hesitate to act against any threat.

The IDF has previously launched attacks on Houthi targets in Yemen in response to missile strikes against Israeli cities. With over 200 ballistic missiles and 170 drones fired at Israel, the Houthis have become a growing concern for Israeli security.

Defense Minister Israel Katz stated that Israel would continue its efforts to neutralize Houthi leadership, calling the group a significant part of Iran's axis of terror. The attack on the Houthis is part of broader Israeli efforts to disrupt regional instability and curb threats to international shipping routes.
