The IDF's Kfir Brigade has been at the forefront of intense operations in the Jabalya and Beit Lahiya areas of Gaza, neutralizing dozens of terrorists and dismantling over 100 terror infrastructures. For the past two weeks, the combat team has been working under Division 162, contributing to the broader Israeli military campaign aimed at securing the safety of Israeli citizens.

According to Colonel Yaniv Barot, commander of the Kfir Brigade, the brigade has been engaged in simultaneous operations across multiple fronts over the past year, including the West Bank, Lebanon, and Gaza. He called the ongoing operations in Gaza the most important mission they have ever undertaken, describing it as "the most just war since the founding of the [Jewish] state."

Colonel Barot emphasized the brigade's key objectives: neutralizing terrorists, dismantling terror infrastructures, and removing weapons that pose a direct threat to the citizens of Israel.

Within the Kfir Brigade's efforts, the Nahshon Battalion has taken a leading role in operations in the heart of Gaza, particularly in Jabalya and Beit Lahiya. Major Israel Benafraj, the battalion's deputy commander, highlighted the battalion’s success in eliminating dozens of terrorists and destroying critical terror infrastructure.

Colonel Barot reaffirmed the brigade's commitment to its mission, which includes the vital objective of returning hostages to their families and restoring security to the residents of Israel's Gaza Envelope. "We are fighting to bring the hostages back home, return the residents of the Gaza envelope to their homes, and provide them with the security they deserve," he declared. "We will continue to fight until the mission is accomplished."
