Last night, more than 500,000 Israelis in cities across the north, including Haifa, Acre, Nazareth, and Kiryat Bialik, rushed to bomb shelters as Hezbollah launched one of the heaviest rocket barrages seen in recent weeks. This marked the first time the terror group targeted the Kiryat area, causing widespread damage and injuries.

In Kiryat Bialik, a man and his 16-year-old granddaughter were injured when a rocket exploded near their home, shattering windows and causing significant damage to their property. "If we hadn't been in the shelter, we would be dead," the man recounted from his hospital bed.

Across the region, damage reports poured in, with rocket fragments and debris scattered across towns and villages. In one tragic incident, a 17-year-old boy lost his life in a car accident near Ramat Yishai during a rocket alert, and a fire broke out in the Ramat area due to a UAV attack from Iraq.

In response, the IDF launched a series of airstrikes targeting Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon. IDF aircraft struck dozens of targets, including rocket launchers and military structures, in retaliation for the attacks on Israeli territory.

The IDF urges residents to follow safety instructions, stay in protected areas for at least 10 minutes after sirens sound, and remain vigilant. These measures have already proven to save lives.

As tensions escalate, Israel's northern communities are demonstrating incredible resilience, standing strong in the face of adversity. Despite the fear and uncertainty, Israelis continue to heed safety guidelines and maintain hope for a safer future.
