The IDF has intensified its psychological operations in Gaza by dropping leaflets in the Al-Mawasi region, targeting Hamas leadership and urging Gazan civilians to turn away from the group. One of the leaflets addressed Yahya Sinwar, the leader of Hamas, directly, stating: "No tunnel is deep enough, Sinwar. Ask Hassan Nasrallah," referencing the recent targeted eliminations of key Hamas leaders, including Ismail Haniyeh and Mohammad Deif.
The flyer included a visual of an hourglass, where the images of senior Hamas officials appeared at the bottom, symbolizing their defeat.
Another leaflet aimed at Gaza’s population questioned Hamas’ actions, accusing the group of luring children into their ranks and causing countless losses for families. "Hamas’ actions, and the fact that they have persuaded your children to join their cause, have led to great loss in the past year. Do you not want a better future for your children?" the leaflet asked.
The messaging is part of a broader IDF effort to weaken Hamas' grip on Gaza and persuade civilians to reject the militant organization’s influence.
