Terrorist Shot and Subdued After Attempting to Grab Soldier’s Weapon at Hospital

IDF forces thwarted an attempted stabbing attack yesterday when they detained a suspect at the Tarkumia checkpoint. During his interrogation, it was revealed that the man intended to carry out a stabbing attack. As he was being arrested, the suspect became violent, prompting the IDF soldiers to shoot him in the leg to neutralize the threat.

The terrorist was then transferred to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem for treatment. While under care, he saw an opportunity to grab a soldier’s weapon after she momentarily lowered it. The situation escalated, but the IDF forces present at the hospital quickly overpowered the suspect, preventing a potential disaster.
