The IDF announced on Thursday that two more senior Hezbollah operatives, Ahmad Mustafa Alhaj Ali and Muhammad Ali Hamadan, have been eliminated amidst ongoing airstrikes and ground operations in Lebanon. These two terrorists had been responsible for many of the anti-tank missile strikes on Israeli communities near the border in the last year, and Ali had been the Hezbollah commander for the Hula area, while Hamdan was in charge of the anti-tank unit in the Mis al-Jabal area.
The report came amidst heavy air strikes on Hezbollah weapons storage depots and other infrastructure throughout southern Lebanon and in Bierut. Ground operations also continued in southern Lebanon Thursday, with IDF troops reporting that many Hezbollah terrorists are being eliminated, tunnels and other fighting positions found and demolished and large quantities of weapons and ammunition captured or destroyed.
In related news, the IDF announced on Thursday that Warrant Officer (res.) Ronny Ganizate, 36, was killed in action in Lebanon. Another reserve soldier was seriously wounded in the same incident.
Ganizate is the 731st IDF soldier killed in action in this war.
