Despite the ongoing ceasefire, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have continued to make significant discoveries in southern Lebanon, uncovering a range of weaponry believed to be linked to the Lebanese terror group Hezbollah. According to the IDF, soldiers from the 7th Armored Brigade stationed in the eastern sector of southern Lebanon located a truck-mounted multiple rocket launcher.
In addition to this, the IDF found hundreds of anti-tank missiles, mortars, grenades, and other types of weaponry in several arms caches. During the operations, multiple Hezbollah tunnels were also destroyed, further disrupting the group's logistical infrastructure.
The discovery comes amid a shift in Hezbollah’s focus, with reports indicating that the group has withdrawn its forces from Syria. Sources have confirmed that Hezbollah pulled back its troops from Syria as rebel factions approached the capital, Damascus. Supervising forces were deployed overnight to manage the pullback, signaling a shift in Hezbollah's operations and its strategic priorities.
