The Israel Police conducted a series of operations over the weekend, resulting in the arrest of over 30 illegal migrants and six car thieves. These operations took place across several cities, highlighting the police's continued efforts to combat illegal immigration and crime.
One of the significant operations took place in Umm al-Fahm, where the Coastal District police and Border Police raided an apartment and arrested 11 illegal migrants from Jenin. In Bat Yam, police arrested three illegal migrants at a construction site, while another seven were apprehended in an apartment within the same compound.
Additionally, the Beit Shemesh police arrested seven illegal migrants, and an East Jerusalem resident was taken into custody for transporting two illegal migrants. An investigation has been launched, and indictments have been filed against several of those arrested.
Along with the arrests of illegal migrants, the Israel Police also cracked down on car theft.
