The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) carried out an airstrike on an armed terrorist cell in Tubas, located in the West Bank, as part of a counterterrorism operation. The operation, which was guided by intelligence from the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency), targeted individuals believed to be involved in militant activities.

Following the airstrike, the Palestinian Health Ministry reported that at least ten Palestinians were killed in the attack. The initial reports from the Red Crescent indicated a death toll of at least three, with multiple individuals also reported to have been injured in the strike.

This operation is part of the ongoing IDF efforts to combat terrorism in the West Bank. In another related action, the IDF demolished the home of the terrorist responsible for the fatal attack on Stf.-Sgt. (res.) Elchanan Ariel Klein, who was killed in November 2023, as well as the attack on several Border Police officers.

The IDF has consistently carried out counterterrorism operations in the West Bank, targeting individuals and cells responsible for attacks on Israeli soldiers and civilians. The escalation of violence in the region has led to increased tensions, with the ongoing conflict resulting in casualties on both sides.
