A shocking terrorist ramming attack occurred on Thursday afternoon on Highway 65 near the Pardes Hanna-Karkur intersection, leaving at least 13 pedestrians injured. Israel Police confirmed that the attacker rammed his vehicle into pedestrians at a bus stop, injuring civilians and a police officer. The assailant then attempted to flee but was stopped by police who neutralized the threat.

The ramming attack left 13 people injured, including one in critical condition, two seriously, and three others moderately injured. A 17-year-old girl was reported to be the most critically wounded. Police quickly identified the suspect’s vehicle and attempted to block it as it traveled toward Gan Shmuel. The terrorist accelerated, rammed into a police vehicle, and then charged at officers with a sharp object before being shot by the authorities.

Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in Hadera reported that they received victims with varying levels of injury, while Magen David Adom (MDA) confirmed the critical condition of the teenage girl and other injured civilians.

The terrorist was identified as a 53-year-old Palestinian from Jenin who was residing illegally in Israel with his family. The circumstances of his illegal stay are currently under investigation by the Israel Security Agency (ISA). The terrorist's actions have sparked further security concerns as investigations continue to uncover the full scope of the attack.

Meanwhile, Israeli security forces are actively engaged in counterterrorism operations across the West Bank. A joint overnight operation involving the IDF, Shin Bet, and Israel Police led to the arrest of 75 wanted terrorists. The operation also resulted in the confiscation of 17 weapons, including M-16 rifles, and the discovery of significant amounts of terror funding in areas like Al Yamun, Hebron, and Immatin near Nablus.

In another success, Israeli security forces recently prevented an imminent terror attack in the West Bank. Armed gunmen, who were found with a 100kg explosive device, had been planning an attack on IDF soldiers. The suspects, identified as Ahmad Ali Zakarnah and Tariq Abu Zaid, were arrested in Nablus while en route to carry out the attack. The Shin Bet investigation revealed that the suspects had received the explosive device from the Jenin Battalion, a terrorist group.
