The IDF Division 210, operating in Syria, seized 1,500 rocket or RPG-type items, 570 electronic military devices, 165 larger rockets and shells, 20 anti-aircraft missiles, and additional weapons. Meanwhile, in Lebanon, during the invasion, the IDF seized 85,170 military items from over 30 villages in southern Lebanon. "It was closed off... nobody knew about it, nobody touched it, for so many years," explained excavation director Eli Shukron.

The site was likely used for worship during the time the First Temple stood on the Temple Mount, just a short distance away. However, it was abandoned during a religious reform in the 8th century BCE, likely attributed to King Hezekiah, who sought to centralize worship at the Temple and eliminate ritual sites throughout Judah. Archaeologists suggest the site was walled off and sealed, marking the end of its use.

On average, families have accumulated debts between NIS 100,000 to NIS 120,000.

Before the war, rising interest rates had already caused monthly mortgage payments to increase by NIS 800 to NIS 1,200. The war has further compounded these financial challenges, with debt repayment costs rising by an additional NIS 1,500 per year for the average household.

The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region exhibited the highest levels, with approximately 76% of respondents endorsing harmful stereotypes. Within the MENA region, the West Bank and Gaza had a staggering 97% endorsement rate. In contrast, Western Europe had the lowest levels of antisemitism, with only 17% of respondents showing significant prejudices.

The survey also pointed to a particularly disturbing trend among younger people. Approximately 50% of respondents under the age of 35 held antisemitic views, a stark contrast to just 37% of those aged 50 and above. This generational divide signals a potential future rise in discrimination, as younger individuals seem more likely to harbor harmful stereotypes.

Another concerning finding was the low level of support for the mainstream historical narrative of the Holocaust among younger respondents. Only 39% of those aged 18-34 fully endorsed the historical facts of the genocide, while a significant portion either believed the death toll was exaggerated, denied the Holocaust outright, or had never even heard of it.

While these figures are deeply troubling, the survey also highlighted some positive trends. A majority of respondents—57%—agreed that anti-Jewish hatred was a serious problem, and many supported diplomatic ties with Israel, as well as welcoming Israeli tourists.

Greenblatt attributed the global rise in antisemitism to the spread of conspiracy theories, populism, and increased polarization, especially among younger people. He also noted that social media plays a significant role in amplifying these negative attitudes, which have been further fueled by events like the Hamas invasion of Israel in October 2023.

In response to these alarming trends, the ADL has called on governments and organizations worldwide to adopt and implement the Global Guidelines for Countering Antisemitism, a framework aimed at combating the rise of antisemitic sentiment and ensuring greater protections for Jewish communities.

National Security Council Issues Warning About Iranian Attempts to Lure Israelis Abroad

According to the NSC's intelligence report, the operatives contacted the businessman through the Telegram app, posing as representatives from Al Arabiya Farsi, the Persian-language division of a Saudi media outlet. Over several days, the operatives attempted to persuade the businessman to attend a meeting in Dubai, all the while sending links and files designed to infiltrate his phone and steal sensitive data.

The NSC praised the businessman for his vigilance, which ultimately prevented a serious incident. His quick reporting led to an investigation, which confirmed that the tactics used in the attempted lure were consistent with known Iranian terrorist strategies.

The NSC has emphasized the growing dangers posed by online communications, urging Israelis to exercise caution when interacting with unfamiliar contacts. The council warned against sharing personal details, such as travel plans, phone numbers, or real-time locations, as these can be exploited by hostile actors for malicious purposes.

The NSC also advised Israelis to verify the legitimacy of unknown contacts, particularly in professional or academic contexts. The council recommended video calls or cross-platform communication whenever possible to ensure authenticity and security.

A senior NSC official explained that this incident is part of a broader trend in which Iranian operatives are increasingly targeting Israelis using business deals, conferences, or academic meetings as bait. The goal is to bring these individuals to third countries where the operatives have already set up a harmful operation.

"We are seeing a creative and persistent pattern of attempts to target Israelis abroad, and this trend is gaining momentum," the official said.
