Elbit Systems Ltd., a prominent Israeli defense electronics company, has secured contracts worth approximately $100 million from a European nation to provide a Joint National Digital Fire Command Center (JNDFC). This new contract also includes integrating the country’s strategic and tactical firing platforms with the JNDFC.

The system will enable seamless digital command and control over firepower in real-time, including artillery platforms, UAVs, drones, and various sensors such as radars and forward observers. Elbit will deliver its advanced multi-domain digital warfare capabilities as part of its C4ISR Digital Fires Suite, which incorporates tools like the Torch-X Fires, E-LynX Software Defined Radio (SDR) radios, and the GRX-8000 High-Capacity Line-of-Sight resilient Microwave Communication system. Additionally, Elbit will fully digitize an artillery battalion, integrating it into the JNDFC to enhance operational efficiency.

This innovative system will significantly improve the Sensor-to-Shooter cycle, enabling faster, more accurate responses during combat situations. Haim Delmar, the General Manager of C4I & Cyber at Elbit Systems, stated, “Modern warfare is constantly evolving, and these multi-domain digital warfare solutions offer unmatched effectiveness, maximizing performance through a fully digitized process.”

In related defense news, the U.S. State Department has informed Congress of its plan to proceed with a $7.4 billion arms sale to Israel. The package, which is expected to be delivered over several years, includes precision-guided bombs, missiles, and additional armament components. The deal is broken down into two parts: a $6.75 billion section featuring a variety of bombs and guidance kits, and a $660 million section for Hellfire missiles, known for their precision targeting capabilities.

These advanced weapons systems, which include 166 guided bombs and thousands of precision guidance kits, will strengthen Israel’s defense capabilities, particularly in terms of aerial firepower. The Hellfire missiles, in particular, are designed to target armor, radars, and other ground-based targets with extreme precision.
